Leighton Meester (born Leighton Meester) is an American model, singer and songwriter. Leighton Meester is best known as Blair Waldorf in the TV drama "Gossip Girl." She began her acting career as a child. She was a part of the stage production in her local town of "Wizard of Oz" throughout her youth. That sparked her fascination in performing. Commercials and modeling were her first step. Alongside her role as a fashion model, she also had a relationship with brands including 'Herbal Essences" the brand 'Vera Wang', 'Jimmy Choo and Ralph Lauren'. Her acting career began with a cameo role in the TV show 'Law and Order'. She has since been featured in a variety of television and feature films such as 'Country Strong", "Monte Carlos" as well as Killer Movie. In addition to acting, she has was a part of notable music artists including 'Cobra Starship' and artist Robin Thicke, and recorded songs. Her songs have been featured in the Billboard Top Hits. She also performed in the Broadway production of "Of Mice and Men."
