Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay champion. She competes currently in the UFC Flyweight division. She's older than her fellow UFC fighter and Former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko first began fighting sports by becoming an Muay Thai boxer. Shevchenko made her debut in the IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals by unanimous verdict. Antonina then won a Silver Medal in 2007, a Bronze Medal in 2008, a Golden medal in 2011, in the IFMA Amateure Muay Thai World Champion. Antonia began her professional career in 2003 and won the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012. She also won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016 as well as the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships in the year 2016. Antonina's last fight was against Isa Tidblad Keskikangas at Phoenix Fighting Championship. The fight was won by a unanimous vote. Antonina Schevchenko broke her professional MMA records in 2002, when she faced Anara Bazanova in the KFK Cup of Kyrgystan. She took the title by TKO in the second round. She was able to take home 2 subsequent fights, both at WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. This gave her a 3-0 MMA record. Shevchenko stopped fighting to pursue boxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui at Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko was able to defeat Anissa in a unanimous decision and beat Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in the year 2017. In 2018, she left the competition and began competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's striking skills were superior and enabled her to TKO Nievera via knees in the back of her. In the aftermath of this fight, Antonina received a UFC deal. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko took the win with a unanimous decision. She was defeated in her subsequent fight with Roxanne Modafferi by split decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from the defeat by beating Lucie Pudilova in the UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler via a rear-naked choke submission. She was awarded the fight-of-the-night bonus. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record in her next 3 fights. She beat Ariane Lipski but lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Then, Antonina lost to Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos against. Walker via second-round TKO.
